The Idea
Fokus Natur - International Days of Bird Watching, Nature Observation and Nature Photography at Lake Constance - was a success in 2007. 2008 Fokus Natur will take place from 12th to 14th of September.
Since visitors and exhibitors as well really enjoyed the location and applauded the ambience, Fokus Natur will again take place at Radolfzell directly at the shore of Lake Constance.
Environment-friendly Event
Lake Constance Foundation and its partners make a point of organising an event which corresponds to the special feature of the Lake Constance region. Amidst impressive historic cultural landscape, which in many parts, has preserved its natural character, you will discover natural resources and cultural highlights inviting you to take a moment to pause and breathe deeply.
The Fair
In the centre of Fokus Natur is a fair around the issue "Discover and experience nature". Exhibitors from the fields of optics, outdoor activities and tourism will display and present their variety of products. Viewing the shore, the lake or the volcanic landscape of the neighbouring Hegau region, visitors can for example test and compare binoculars and spotting scopes. Experts will be pleased to answer your questions, give hints and tips, and provide help. The Fair is also a forum to talk with experts about nature topics.
Accompanying Programme
Environmental organisations from Germany, Austria and Switzerland will offer you an interesting social programme. If you appreciate quiet extraordinary events instead of loud mass entertainment then you should not miss the Focus Nature Exhibition. Discover and enjoy Lake Constance and its wonderful setting on a silent solar boat cruise or during excursions to the numerous nature reserves in the immediate vicinity! There are also special offers for experts and amateurs as well as for families. Both the young and the young at heart will enjoy this weekend.
